For Presidents Day, Special Collections is featuring what librarian John Buechler valued as one of our major holdings, a copy of Royall Tyler's comedy The Contrast, with President George Washington's "bold, clear signature" on the title page. Before making its way to UVM, the beautifully bound volume was owned by three important book collectors with ties to Vermont: Lucius E. Chittenden, James B. Wilbur, and Hall Park McCullough. You can find the full story in our latest blog post.
