For University of Vermont Department of Theatre and Dance professor Martin Thaler and his students, costume design begins with a careful reading of a play’s text and proceeds to deep research about the time period and its clothing. Our latest exhibit features an impressive selection of Thaler’s costume designs and drawings.

A new exhibit space in the Davis Center provides a venue in which the work and struggles of Black, Indigenous and People of Color at UVM can be acknowledged and celebrated.The inaugural exhibit is centered on the experiences of Black members of the UVM community.
