Sylvain Piron, from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, will open the 2018-2019 College of Arts and Sciences Medieval Studies Lecture Series with his presentation "Why Studying the Middle Ages Matters in the Age of Global Warming."  The event is sponsored by the Department of History, the CAS Dean's Office, and Special Collections.
